Kotobukiya bishoujo plastic model shipments exceed 10 million units

Kotobukiya has announced that the cumulative global shipment of its original IP bishoujo (beautiful girl) character plastic model series surpassed 10 million units as of September 2026.

The company began its full-scale expansion of this genre in May 2015 with the release of ‘Frame Arms Girl,’ a spin-off of its original ‘Frame Arms’ robot content. Since then, Kotobukiya has developed several successful lines, including ‘Megami Device’ (2016), ‘Sousai Shojo Teien’ and ‘Arcanadea’ (2021), and ‘Mugen Kaigo Megaromaia’ (2024).

These series focus on combining mechanical design with character expression, allowing users to assemble, pose, and customize models. The products have gained significant support from fans across Japan, Asia, North America, and Europe.
