Kotor residents surveyed on cruise tourism impact
The Institute of Biology and the Maritime Faculty, in collaboration with the University of Santa Barbara, have launched a project to assess the impact of cruise tourism on the quality of life in Kotor.
The initiative involves a survey designed to collect the views of the local population to help shape sustainable management processes for the tourism sector. By gathering professional data from a large sample, the study aims to transform individual grievances into measurable patterns. This data is intended to serve as evidence in public debates and expert reports, allowing residents to advocate for different management approaches regarding the consequences of cruise activities.
