Prelog High School begins 17 million euro expansion project
Significant educational infrastructure investments are underway in Croatia. In Prelog, a contract worth over 17 million euros has been signed to expand Srednja škola Prelog. The project, which includes a 9.3 million euro construction contract awarded to HIDROING d. o. o., aims to transform the existing 180-year-old building into a modern educational and excellence center for tourism and hospitality. The expansion will add over 1,500 square meters of space, including a new sports hall, classrooms, a cafeteria, and a library.
Additionally, the Matija Antun Reljković Primary School in Cerna is set to undergo a reconstruction and expansion project valued at approximately 1.35 million euros. Funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the project will add four classrooms, laboratories, a lift, and a kitchen. This expansion is intended to increase student capacity by 112 and allow the school to transition to a single-shift operation, improving conditions for students and staff.
