Kototoya launches Ehime sea bream rice seasoning
The food select shop Kototoya, under Estelle Holdings, has released ‘Kototoya Ehime no Gokutai Meshi no Moto’, a premium seasoning for making traditional Ehime-style sea bream rice (taimeshi) at home.
The product uses natural sea bream sourced from Ehime Prefecture. It features a golden broth extracted from sea bream bones and includes 80g of sea bream meat for every two cups of rice. To enhance the natural flavors, the seasoning incorporates dry sake from an Ehime brewery, Hakata salt, Hokkaido kelp, and mirin.
Designed for convenience, the product allows users to prepare authentic regional flavors simply by adding the mixture to a rice cooker. The product is priced at 970 yen (including tax) and has a shelf life of 365 days from the date of manufacture.
