KOVO Cup 2026 women's volleyball tournament begins in Yeosu

The 21st edition of the KOVO Cup women's volleyball tournament commenced on October 11, 2026, at the Jinnam Gymnasium in Yeosu, South Korea. The tournament features seven participating teams divided into two groups.

Group A consists of SOOP Superers, Red Sparks, Pink Spiders, and the defending champion IBK Altos. Group B includes Hyundai Hillstate, Hi-Pass, and GS Caltex. The tournament format utilizes a round-robin system within each group, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals will compete in the final on October 18, 2026, with no third-place playoff scheduled.

Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi is competing this season with Hyundai Hillstate, joining American player Jordan Wilson as one of the club's two foreign players. Hyundai Hillstate is scheduled to play its first matches against Hi-Pass on October 14 and GS Caltex on October 16.
