KOVO Women's Rookie Draft sees Audrey Park selected first overall

The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) held the 2026–2027 women's rookie draft at the Mayfield Hotel in Seoul. IBK Industrial Bank of Korea secured the first overall pick with a 20% probability, selecting Audrey Park (Park Hye-rin), a setter from UCLA and former player for the Columbus Fury in the Major League Volleyball. Park's selection marks the first time a player of foreign nationality has been drafted in the league, following a KOVO decision to allow overseas Koreans to participate.

Other top selections included Kim Mi-ju (setter, Jungang Girls' High School) by SOOP at second, Jeong Ga-young (attacker, Ilshin Girls' Commercial High School) by Hyundai Hillstate at third, Yu Da-eun (attacker, Geunyeong Girls' High School) by Korea Expressway Corporation at fourth, and Kim A-jung (libero, Cheongsu High School) by Red Sparks at fifth. Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders utilized a second-round pick acquired in a trade to select Kang Min-ju, an attacker from Hanbom High School.

The draft featured 58 participants, resulting in 16 players being selected for professional teams.
