Kovászna County police issue 17,000 lei in fines during raids

Police and gendarmerie in Kovászna County conducted road, public order, and economic inspections across several locations, including Kézdivásárhely, Kézdiszentlélek, Gelenc, Ozdol, and Bereck.

During checks on public roads, particularly along high-risk sections of National Road 11, authorities stopped 60 vehicles and conducted breathalyzer tests on 50 drivers. The operations resulted in 44 recorded violations, consisting of 30 traffic offenses and 13 other infractions, totaling 17,000 lei in fines.
