Kozani hosts 11th Anti-racist Festival of Social Solidarity
The 11th Anti-racist Festival of Social Solidarity in Kozani begins on Thursday, September 3, at the Open Theater of Agios Dimitrios Park. The event aims to highlight the local music scene and promote messages of social solidarity, collectivism, and social rights through music and communal gathering.
The opening night features two local bands: The Thirstdays and Adies Meres. The Thirstdays, formed in 2022, play Greek rock with avant-garde influences. Adies Meres is a psychotic-rock band established in 2006, known for an underground sound that blends psychedelic elements, heavy riffs, and punk influences with socially conscious lyrics.
