Kozani Municipality secures Green Fund financing for Logiou Park

The Municipality of Kozani has secured funding for the redevelopment of Logiou Park through the Green Fund’s ‘Environmental Balance Actions’ program. Following a decision by the Fund’s Board of Directors on September 30, 2026, the project, which has a study budget of €965,000, was officially included in the funding program.

Mayor Giannis Kokkaliaris stated that the project aims to restore and upgrade the space both functionally and aesthetically. The redevelopment will focus on enhancing green areas, ensuring accessibility for all citizens, and utilizing modern bioclimatic materials. The goal is to create a modern public space for gathering and recreation that serves as an environmental lung within the urban fabric.
