KP Sharma Oli Criticizes Nepal Government and Trains UML MPs

KP Sharma Oli, chairman of Nepal's CPN-UML, accused Prime Minister Balen Shah's government of betraying loan‑sharking victims, saying the administration is deepening an economic crisis, raising prices and taxes while concealing the country's deteriorating finances. Oli claimed the government failed to help victims, forced more youths to seek work abroad, and oversaw a loss of about Rs 542 billion in the stock market.

On the same day, the UML held an interaction program to train its lawmakers on parliamentary duties. Party officials outlined sessions on the functions of the Parliament Secretariat, committee jurisdiction, party policies, and how MPs should coordinate with party departments. Lawmakers from both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly participated.
