KP Sharma Oli labels Nepalese government unconstitutional

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has criticized the current Nepalese government, labeling it an “unconstitutional” and “puppet” administration. Speaking in Kathmandu and Ilam, Oli accused the government of being formed through unauthorized means and staging a “drama” in the name of elections after dissolving the House of Representatives prematurely.

Oli argued that the government is steering the country in the wrong direction due to a lack of experience among those assigned leadership roles. He compared the current administration to assigning kitchen responsibilities to a child who cannot cook, suggesting that the push to replace experienced leaders with inexperienced individuals has worsened national problems.

In addition to his criticisms of the state, Oli addressed internal party matters, condemning rising indiscipline and chaos within the CPN-UML. He dismissed rumors and signature campaigns aimed at removing him from his leadership position as “anarchy” and “ridiculous,” stating that such actions violate party statutes. He warned that those acting against party procedures would be brought under disciplinary action.
