KPBMA to host Quality Management Academy on global QMM trends

The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association (KPBMA) will host its 3rd Quality Management Academy on November 4. The event aims to support domestic companies in establishing Quality Management Maturity (QMM) systems and driving manufacturing innovation.

QMM is a concept being promoted by the U.S. FDA that evaluates how mature a facility's quality system is, moving beyond mere regulatory compliance. The academy, themed ‘Beyond Compliance: Shaping the Future of Pharma Quality with QMM’, will feature international experts to share global trends and practical application cases.

Morning sessions led by Parexel experts, including former FDA QMM evaluators, will cover operating quality systems based on QMM and quantifying quality culture. Afternoon sessions will include a lecture by Lachman Consultants on quality management in the age of AI, and a presentation by AqVida GmbH regarding EU GMP supplier qualification and automation based on European manufacturing experience.
