KPJ Healthcare University Malaysia conducts community service in Padang

A delegation from KPJ Healthcare University, Malaysia, conducted a community service program in Padang, Indonesia, in collaboration with the local Tim Penggerak PKK and Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP).

The program aims to provide students with experiential learning outside the classroom through direct interaction with the community. The collaboration focuses on sectors including health, education, and community empowerment. During the visit, the Padang PKK team presented its 10 main programs, while the DWP highlighted its role in improving family quality.

Dian Puspita Fadly Amran, Chairperson of the Padang PKK, emphasized the value of the initiative, noting that the PKK plays a vital role in women and child empowerment, education, economy, and family health. The engagement also serves as a cultural exchange, allowing Malaysian students to learn about Minangkabau customs, local traditions, and regional cuisine.
