KPK investigates corruption in Bogor Regency government
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption within the Bogor Regency government. The probe focuses on the suspected cutting of incentives for civil servants (ASN) related to regional tax and retribution collection managed by the Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bappenda).
On October 29, 2026, KPK examined Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto as a witness. The commission has also rescheduled examinations for several other officials on October 30, 2026, at the Bogor Police Station to ensure investigative effectiveness. These witnesses include Vice Regent Ade Ruhandi, Regional Secretary Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, Regional Inspector Arif Rahman, Bappenda staff member Sesilia Windy Gloriana, and the Regent’s aide Gilang Windu.
In addition to the incentive cuts, the KPK is conducting a separate investigation into alleged corruption regarding the procurement of goods and services within the Bogor Regency Education Office (Disdik). Previous investigative actions included searches at the Bappenda, the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), and the Education Office. While investigators have secured 1.5 billion IDR in evidence, no suspects have been officially named at this stage.
