KPK investigates corruption allegations in Bekasi and Bogor
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is conducting multiple investigations into alleged corruption involving assets and land rights in West Java.
In Bekasi Regency, investigators plan to summon former Cimanggis police officer Ipda Yayat Sudrajat and his wife, Rista, to clarify the origins of luxury assets. These assets, including a villa in Sagalaherang and a 1.5-hectare plantation in Subang, are suspected to be linked to corruption within the Bekasi Regency Government. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that investigators are currently analyzing witness statements and seized evidence to determine the legal status of the case.
Separately, the KPK is investigating alleged bribery related to the management of building rights (HGB) for PT Summarecon Agung Tbk in Bogor Regency. The commission has summoned several witnesses, including executives and financial staff from PT Kencana Jayaproperti Agung and PT Summarecon Property Development, to examine the procurement processes.
