KPK sting operation detains 17 people in ATR/BPN corruption case

The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a sting operation on September 14, 2026, resulting in the detention of 17 individuals. The operation targeted alleged corruption involving the processing of Building Rights (HGB) in the Bogor Regency area.

High-ranking officials detained include Lampri, the Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Enforcement at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN), along with the heads of the Bogor Regency and Tangerang City land offices. Other notable detainees include Golkar Party official Fahd Arafiq, former Kebumen Regent Arif Sugiyanto, and Adrianto Pitojo Adhi, the President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk.

During the operation, the KPK seized a significant amount of cash in both Rupiah and foreign currencies. The money was found stored in approximately 20 containers, including suitcases, boxes, and cartons, with an estimated value reaching hundreds of billions of Rupiah. The KPK is currently conducting investigations to determine the legal status of those detained.
