KPK seizes luxury vehicles in BNPB and Pekalongan corruption probes

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized several luxury vehicles as part of ongoing investigations into corruption and money laundering.

In the BNPB disaster fund case, investigators seized four luxury cars, including BMW models, from suspects Richard Erlangga and Bima Setiawan. The investigation follows searches conducted at various locations in Jakarta, Tangerang Selatan, and Bekasi, including the BNPB office.

Additionally, the KPK seized a BMW electric vehicle from the residence of Ashraff Abu in Semarang. This action is part of an investigation into alleged money laundering related to corruption and conflicts of interest within the Pekalongan Regency Government. This follows the previous arrest of Fadia Arafiq in March 2026 regarding procurement irregularities.
