KPM Analytics launches new in‑line NIR sensors for food processing

KPM Analytics announced the MCT700 Series of near‑infrared (NIR) sensors—MCT700, MCT750 and MCT790—for continuous in‑line measurement of moisture, fat/oil, color and product temperature. The non‑contact sensors can be mounted over conveyors, augers and chutes and are suited to baked and fried snacks, doughs, crackers, breakfast cereals and other food ingredients. Designed for harsh line conditions, the units are IP67 or IP69K rated and can operate in hot, greasy or wet environments. Real‑time data enable manual or automatic adjustments of ovens, sprayers and other equipment, helping processors reduce waste and increase productivity. The sensors are now available for order worldwide.
