KPMG and OpenAI form elite partnership to drive generative AI adoption in Canada

KPMG and OpenAI announced a strategic alliance that elevates KPMG Canada to the rank of OpenAI Elite Partner, the highest tier in the newly created OpenAI Partner Network. The partnership aims to embed generative artificial intelligence across Canadian enterprises and government agencies, moving organisations from pilot projects to full‑scale transformation. KPMG will provide governance, industry expertise and implementation capabilities, while OpenAI will supply its models and integration tools.

Ksenia Chumachenko, Head of Global Alliances at OpenAI, said Canadian organisations are ready to move beyond experimentation toward safe, responsible AI use. KPMG Canada has already deployed ChatGPT Enterprise internally for over 3,000 employees, automating document review in deal‑advisory work with OpenAI’s Codex platform, freeing staff to focus on risk assessment and strategic opportunities.
