KPS Płock prepares for debut First League volleyball season

After a successful 2025/2026 campaign, KPS Płock's men's volleyball team earned promotion from the second tier to the Polish First League. The club introduced seven new players for the 2026/2027 season, including newcomers Dawid Bulira, Bartłomiej Dorosz, Jakub Baranowski, Jakub Dobrolubow, Przemysław Czado, Kacper Komar and Yaroslaw Chausov. Head coach Marcin Lubiejewski confirmed that training resumed on 27 July, with the full squad and foreign signings present and all players in good health except libero Filip Popiwczak, who is limiting his shoulder load after recent surgery.

The preseason program features ten training sessions this week, a team‑building outing, and beach‑sand drills. The squad will play preparatory matches against local teams and participate in tournaments in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Stare Babice and Bydgoszcz. A rescheduled league opener on 12 September will be replaced by a friendly against Anioły Toruń at the club’s home venue.
