ÖSYM announces 2026 KPSS exam schedule and details

The 2026 Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) marathon is set to begin on September 6, 2026, with the Undergraduate General Ability and General Culture session. Approximately 1,708,329 candidates have applied for this initial session, which will be held across 145 examination centers in 81 Turkish provinces and Nicosia, Northern Cyprus.

ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy noted that the majority of applicants are women. The exam will consist of 120 questions with a 130-minute time limit. Candidates must be inside examination buildings by 10:00 AM, as no entry will be permitted after that time. Results for the undergraduate session are expected to be announced on October 7.

Subsequent exam stages include the Field Knowledge Exams on September 12-13, the Associate Degree exam on October 4, the Secondary Education exam on October 25, and the Religious Services Field Knowledge Test (DHBT) on November 1. To assist candidates, local authorities in cities like Ankara and Uşak are providing transportation support, while Karabük has announced specific traffic measures. Additionally, certain population directorates will remain open on exam morning to issue temporary identity documents for candidates facing identification issues.
