KPU updates voter data in Kampar and Banyumas regencies

The General Elections Commission (KPU) in Kampar and Banyumas regencies has completed the third-quarter voter data updates for 2026 as part of the Continuous Voter Data Update (PDPB) process.

In Kampar, the KPU established a total of 647,977 voters, including 13,479 new entries. Officials emphasized the necessity of cross-sector coordination with local governments and law enforcement to ensure data accuracy regarding deaths, relocations, and new eligible voters in preparation for the 2029 elections.

In Banyumas, the voter count rose to 1,438,848, an increase of 3,704 people from the second quarter. The demographic breakdown includes 719,903 male voters and 718,945 female voters. The KPU noted that the increase is largely driven by updates to first-time voters reaching the age of 17, as well as adjustments for relocated residents.
