Kraft Heinz celebrates Heritage Day in Johannesburg with 125 braais

Kraft Heinz hosted a large-scale Heritage Day celebration in Johannesburg, South Africa, to mark the brand's integration into local braai culture. The event brought together more than 2,000 people for a gathering centered on food, music, and community.

A central feature of the event was the arrangement of 125 braais, which were positioned to form the shape of the Heinz keystone label when viewed from above. This visual display was intended to symbolize the brand's connection to South African culinary traditions.

The celebration also included a live art performance by South African artist Ricollin, who used Heinz Tomato Ketchup as a medium to create a tribute to South African heritage. The artwork incorporated various symbols of the nation's people and culture, merging the brand's 150-year history with local identity.
