Kraft Mac & Cheese to launch Cheesy Ramen in 2027

Kraft Mac & Cheese has announced its entry into the ramen category, marking the brand’s first expansion into a new food category in nearly 20 years. The new product line, titled Cheesy Ramen, is scheduled for a nationwide launch in the United States in early 2027.

The lineup will feature three varieties: Spicy, Chicken, and Pork. According to the company, the products will contain no artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes. The decision to enter the market follows observations that consumers have been adding cheese to ramen to increase creaminess or mitigate heat.

Kraft Heinz noted that the ramen category is valued at $2.7 billion, with the cheesy ramen segment having doubled in size over the last three years. The move is part of a broader strategy to drive growth through the company's iconic brands.
