KRAFTON has announced that pre-registration for BGMI Lite will begin in India on August 25, 2026. Android users can register via Google Play, while details for iOS users are expected to follow.

The Lite version is designed to be more accessible for players with limited hardware capabilities or storage. It is expected to have an initial download size of approximately 1 GB on Android and 2 GB on iOS. The game is scheduled for release by the end of 2026.

Key features anticipated for the launch include classic mode maps, such as Erangel, along with quick matches and TDM modes. Players are advised to link their existing BGMI accounts to social media to facilitate seamless game ID transfers and the migration of pre-owned cosmetics, including outfits and skins, to the new version.
