KRAFTON unveils new PUBG action‑FPS set in US Pacific Northwest at gamescom 2026

KRAFTON announced five titles it will showcase at gamescom 2026, the European gaming expo in Cologne, Germany, from 26 to 30 August. The lineup includes an unpublished PUBG Studios project – an action first‑person shooter set in the deep forests and small towns of the US Pacific Northwest, positioned as a continuation of the PUBG series DNA with dynamic, story‑driven gameplay.

The other four games are NO LAW, an immersive open‑world FPS RPG set in the cyber‑noir port city Port Desire; Project ZETA, a multi‑team tactical arena where four three‑person squads compete for the resource "Prism"; Age Twisters, a two‑player cooperative narrative adventure that uses an age‑changing bracelet to explore a near‑future Barcelona; and TARAE: The Unbound, an original Eastern dark‑fantasy action RPG inspired by the six realms of reincarnation.

In parallel, Krafton and the CurseForge mod platform launched a worldwide PUBG: Battlegrounds user‑generated‑content contest with a total prize pool of US$95,000. Submissions are open from 12 August to 2 September 2026 across three categories – Combat, Survival and Creative – and 30 winning modes will be released on the upcoming PUBG: Playgrounds hub. The winners will be announced on 14 September 2026.
