Kragujevac Comic Con to celebrate 40 years of Dylan Dog

The 16th Kragujevac Comic Con will take place from September 18 to 20, with this year's program specifically celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic comic character Dylan Dog. The festival is organized by the Svet stripa association under the patronage of the Kragujevac City Assembly.

The event kicks off on Friday at the Vuk Karadžić National Library, featuring a public interview and drawing session with Italian comic artist Paolo Bacilieri. During the opening, the Brana Cvetković award for outstanding contribution to comic art will be presented to Vladimir Vesović.

On Saturday, activities move to the TPC Šumadija in the ‘Street of Open Comics,’ which will host panels, workshops, a comic and book fair, and exhibitions of figurines and models. The Saturday program includes the 30th anniversary of the Lavirint publishing house and a presentation of the Vekovnici series by Marko Stojanović.
