Kraken expands services with new prop trading and TradingView integration

Cryptocurrency platform Kraken has announced two major service expansions. First, the company is launching Kraken Funded, a proprietary trading program for retail users. Following the acquisition of Breakout, this initiative allows eligible clients to access larger trading capital by demonstrating skill in a simulated environment. Users pay an entry fee to participate in a challenge where they must reach a 12% profit target without exceeding a 5% maximum loss. Successful participants receive a funded account to trade over 50 crypto assets and select stocks.

Additionally, Kraken Pro has integrated with TradingView, allowing users to execute spot orders directly from the TradingView terminal. The integration utilizes OAuth for secure, fast connection without the need for manual API key management. Traders can place market, limit, and stop orders across Kraken Pro’s full range of supported spot markets while viewing position sizes and account balances directly on their charts.
