Jersey Mike's Subs Raises $1 B in NYSE Debut Valued Over $7 B

Jersey Mike's Subs priced its initial public offering at $23 per share, raising roughly $1 billion and giving the fast‑casual sandwich chain a post‑offering valuation of about $7.3 billion. The Blackstone‑backed company, which Blackstone acquired in January 2025 for $6.3 billion, opened trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker JMKE. Shares debuted at $21, 8.7 % below the IPO price, later hovering near $22.6.

The IPO was overseen by CEO Charlie Morrison, an experienced dealmaker who previously led Wingstop’s public listing. Founder Peter Cancro remains a significant shareholder and operates the master franchise in the United Kingdom and Ireland. At the end of the first quarter, the chain operated about 3,300 franchised locations in the United States and Canada.

Crypto exchange Kraken announced that eligible U.S. investors could request allocations of the traditional shares, while customers in more than 110 countries could obtain tokenized shares (JMKEx) backed 1:1 by the underlying stock. These tokenized units will trade on Kraken and participating xStocks Alliance platforms around the clock, extending equity access beyond conventional brokerages.
