Krakow International Book Fair draws crowds amid local disruption

The 29th International Book Fair is currently taking place at EXPO Kraków, running from October 22 to 25. The event features a wide array of prominent authors, journalists, and cultural figures, including Szczepan Twardoch, Robert Makłowicz, and Anna Dymna.

While the fair serves as a significant cultural gathering for readers and publishers, it has caused logistical difficulties for residents living near the EXPO Kraków venue on Galicyjska Street. Local inhabitants have reported challenges regarding increased noise levels, difficulty finding parking, and traffic congestion that hinders movement within their neighborhoods.

Organizers recommend that visitors utilize public transportation, such as trams lines 1, 14, and 22, or specific bus lines, due to limited parking availability at the site.
