Kraków's New Music Center Construction Begins on the Błonia Meadow

Construction of the Kraków Music Center on the historic Błonia meadow has started. City architect Janusz Sepioł visited the site, noting that the design respects the open‑space character of the meadow and aims to blend the building with its surroundings. The project includes a wide shaded area that will remain open to the public throughout the day, allowing the venue to serve not only as a concert hall but also as a meeting place for workshops, social events and casual recreation. Officials say the centre will enhance Kraków’s cultural offering while preserving visual balance with the green landscape.

The development is being closely monitored by municipal representatives and the Kraków City Development Agency, who stress the importance of integrating the new structure into the existing urban fabric without overwhelming the Błonia’s expansive green area.
