Kraków hosts Great Tram Parade for 125th anniversary

Kraków is hosting a Great Tram Parade to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the city's electric transport system. The event features a mix of historic and modern trams, including the popular SN1 “Gracówka” and various SN models, as well as a unique LOWA trailer.

The parade begins at the Podgórze depot and travels through several major streets, including Wadowicka, Krakowska, and Lubicz, before concluding at the Nowa Huta depot. In addition to local vehicles, the parade includes trams from other Polish cities such as Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław, as well as international vehicles from Nuremberg, Vienna, and Düsseldorf.

Participation in the parade is free of charge. Following the procession, additional attractions are planned at the Nowa Huta depot, where participants can experience activities such as riding a tram through a wash facility.
