Poland implements various transport and infrastructure updates

Various infrastructure and transport updates are being implemented across Poland. PKP Intercity is introducing new long-distance rail connections to Olecko and Suwałki, while Koleje Mazowieckie reported high passenger numbers for its seasonal seaside routes.

In urban areas, Kraków is testing digital parking enforcement systems and has updated its paid parking zone regulations. Bielsko-Biała is considering a unified ticket for buses and trains, and Suwałki is investing in pedestrian safety through new active crossings and LED lighting.

Road and utility works are also underway, including sewage infrastructure modernization in Łódź, road reconstruction in Świdnica and Wrocław, and the permanent closure of a railway crossing in Pobiedziska. Additionally, Kaufland is piloting ANPR technology for automated parking management at several locations.
