Kraków police investigate fatal beating linked to hooligan groups

Authorities in Kraków are investigating a fatal beating of a 36-year-old man, identified as a Hutnik Kraków supporter, which occurred in the Nowa Huta district. The investigation, involving the Central Investigation Bureau of Police and cooperation with Slovak authorities, has led to several arrests, including a 16-year-old and three suspects detained in Slovakia.

In response to the violence, Wisła Kraków President Jarosław Królewski announced a crackdown on criminal hooligan groups. The club has implemented a new stadium regulation banning symbols associated with the “Młoda Ferajna” group, with violations potentially resulting in two-year bans.

Królewski also expressed his intention to provide financial assistance to the child of the deceased man. While acknowledging the victim's involvement in illegal activities, Królewski stated that the child should not be held responsible for the father's actions or environment.
