Kraków reports summer road accident statistics

During the summer season in Kraków, road accident statistics showed a slight decrease, with 202 recorded accidents, which is 16 fewer than the previous year. Despite this decline, the impact remained severe, resulting in 3 deaths and 217 injuries.

Police enforcement focused on speeding, driving under the influence, and vehicle technical conditions. Authorities recorded over 9,600 speeding violations and detained 460 drivers for driving under the influence. Additionally, 83 drivers were caught without licenses, 25 were operating vehicles despite court bans, and 534 vehicle registrations were revoked due to technical failures.
