Kramatorsk hit by Russian glide bomb attacks

Russian glide bomb attacks on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk have killed at least two people and injured four others, according to reports from the Ukrainian police.

Four 250-kilogram bombs were dropped on the city, located in the Donetsk region approximately twelve kilometers from the front line. Two of the bombs struck residential buildings. The use of glide bombs, which utilize wing structures to travel long distances from high altitudes, allows them to reach targets far from the immediate front line and complicates air defense efforts.
