Kranj police seize firearm and ammunition after balcony shooting

Police in Kranj responded to a dangerous incident in the Planina area after residents reported gunfire and the disruptive use of pyrotechnics from a residential apartment balcony.

Authorities identified a 55-year-old man responsible for the shooting. During the subsequent house search, police seized a firearm along with approximately 300 rounds of ammunition and a significant quantity of pyrotechnic items.

In separate regional reports from the Kamnik police station, officers documented several incidents including a physical altercation in a restaurant that left multiple people with minor injuries, an illegal deer hunt, and a dispute between neighbors regarding parking.
