Krapina-Zagorje County high schools open second enrollment round

The second enrollment period for high schools in Krapina-Zagorje County has commenced, with 160 vacant spots remaining across nine county-founded secondary schools. Following the first enrollment round, the total occupancy rate for these programs stands at 88.1 percent, with 1,187 students enrolled out of a total quota of 1,347 across 62 class units.

County Prefect Željko Kolar emphasized the goal of ensuring quality education within the region, encouraging students who have not yet enrolled to utilize the second round. The second enrollment period began on August 24 and is scheduled to run until August 28, 2026, with final rankings expected to be published on August 31.

Specific vacancies remain in various programs, including construction, carpentry, horticulture, architecture, and agriculture, particularly at Bedekovčina and Konjščina secondary schools.
