Krapina-Zagorje County hosts mental health lecture for caregivers

In Zabok, the Association of Psychologists of Krapina-Zagorje County organized a lecture titled “Mental Health of the Helper – From Self-Care to Caring for Others.” Led by psychologist and psychotherapist Mirna Jakšić, the session was designed for professionals in helping occupations who support children, youth, and families.

Deputy County Prefect Jasna Petek noted that the county continues to support the Association's work, highlighting the employment of additional psychologists in public health institutes and health centers to bring mental health services closer to primary healthcare. Marija Vragović, president of the Association, emphasized that while their primary focus remains the mental health of children and youth, this year’s project specifically addresses the mental well-being of the caregivers themselves.
