Krasiemira Milachkova nominated for Supreme Judicial Council

Krasiemira Milachkova, a judge at the Administrative Court - Sofia City, has been nominated for an elected position on the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) from the judges' quota. Her candidacy is supported by magistrates from the Supreme Cassation Court, the Supreme Administrative Court, the Administrative Court - Sofia City, and the Administrative Court - Pleven.

Supporters cite her professional skills, integrity, independence, and active involvement in addressing current issues within the professional community. Milachkova has been a judge at the Sofia City Administrative Court since its establishment in 2007. Her previous experience includes serving as a legal consultant at the National Revenue Agency and as a lecturer at the National Institute of Justice. She holds a master's degree in European Union Law and is currently a doctoral student at Sofia University ‘Kliment Ohridski’.

The nomination marks the first step in the selection process for six representatives from the judicial quota. The procedure will involve a review of her professional biography and concept, followed by a vote by the judges.
