Kratos Defense & Security acquires Jetset Airmotive and secures new contracts
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has expanded its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities through the acquisition of Jetset Airmotive. The deal, estimated to be worth approximately $50 million in a mix of cash and Kratos shares, integrates Jetset’s PT6A turbine engine operations with Kratos’ existing Oklahoma-based CTS subsidiary. The acquisition is expected to add over $5 million to the company’s annual EBITDA.
In addition to the acquisition, Kratos has secured more than $100 million in new contracts focused on developing prototype mission applications and cyber capabilities. These contracts involve providing space intelligence data to support joint operations across space and cyberspace domains using the company’s software, analytics, and signal processing expertise.
Financial analysis highlights Kratos’ ability to maintain strong organic revenue growth, which averaged 14.9% year-on-year over the last two years. This growth indicates a capacity for expansion through core products and customer relationships independent of mergers and acquisitions.
