KraussMaffei ends production at Schwerin facility

KraussMaffei has completed the relocation of its production facilities from Schwerin, Germany, to Parsdorf, Germany, and Sučany, Slovakia. Following an announcement in December 2025, the manufacturing operations at the Schwerin site have officially ended.

While a construction team consisting of six employees will remain at the Schwerin location, the company has held discussions regarding severance agreements with 23 other staff members. A social plan has been established with the works council, though the specific professional future and benefits for all affected employees have not been fully disclosed.
