Kravica Waterfalls ranked among Europe's top hidden gems for 2026

The Kravica Waterfalls, located near Ljubuški in Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been ranked seventh on the list of the 12 best hidden gems in Europe for 2026. The ranking was published by the European tourism platform European Best Destinations.

Formed by the Trebižat River flowing over travertine barriers, the waterfalls stretch over 100 meters in width and are surrounded by lush greenery. The site is a popular destination for swimming and nature excursions. The recognition places Kravica alongside other notable European destinations, including Tübingen, Germany (ranked first), Motovun, Croatia (ranked second), Meteora, Greece, and Alberobello, Italy.

The Tourist Board of the City of Ljubuški stated that this recognition confirms the authenticity and natural value of the area, serving as an incentive for sustainable tourism development in the region.
