Krawczyk estate dispute continues between widow and son

A legal dispute continues regarding the estate of the late Polish singer Krzysztof Krawczyk, who passed away in April 2021. The conflict involves his widow, Ewa Krawczyk, and his only son, Krzysztof Krawczyk Junior.

The son is challenging the validity of the singer's will, which leaves nearly all assets, including real estate and royalties, to his widow. Krawczyk Junior is seeking a legal portion of the inheritance (zachowek) and has questioned the document's validity based on his father's mental and physical condition at the time it was written.

Marian Lichtman, a co-founder of the band Trubadurzy and a supporter of the singer's son, has expressed concern over the prolonged nature of the court proceedings. Lichtman noted that the ongoing uncertainty is negatively impacting Krawczyk Junior's health, specifically mentioning his struggle with epilepsy and related injuries. While legal actions were expected to reach milestones as early as 2022, no definitive resolution has been reached.
