Violent crimes and legal rulings reported in Germany, Austria, and Thailand

Various violent incidents and legal rulings have been reported across Europe and Thailand.

In Germany, a 56-year-old was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for a knife attack on a highway in Brüggen. In Stuttgart, a 47-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained during a knife and fire attack by her estranged husband at a shopping mall. Additionally, a 35-year-old received a seven-year sentence in Mönchengladbach for attempting to murder his stepfather, and a 37-year-old was sentenced to seven years for an attempted murder involving a crossbow in Schleswig-Holstein. In Berlin, police seized nine firearms during a vehicle search in Baumschulenweg.

In Austria, authorities in Graz are investigating the death of a 24-year-old woman. A 23-year-old suspect, identified as the brother of the victim's partner, was arrested after allegedly breaking into the apartment.

In Thailand, a 23-year-old man is under investigation following a fatal collision in Bangkok. The incident involved a pickup truck intentionally ramming a motorcycle carrying a 24-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, both of whom died. The driver is in critical condition, and police are investigating the motive as a potential act of revenge.
