The inaugural Kremasta Lake Festival is concluding its month-long series of cultural, athletic, and environmental events around Lake Kremasta. The final weekend of activities will center on the Tempi Bridge.
On Saturday, August 29, at 9:00 PM, musician Mano Pyrovolakis will perform a concert at the Tempi Bridge. The following morning, Sunday, August 30, the first 'Kremasta Lake Run' half-marathon will begin at the Tataras Bridge at 9:00 AM, with participants expected to finish at the Tempi Bridge around noon.
The festival is a collaborative effort between the Regions of Western Greece and Central Greece under a Memorandum of Cooperation. The initiative aims to promote the mountainous and lakeside areas of the Acheloos River, enhancing regional development through sustainable tourism and positioning the area as a year-round destination for culture, sports, and nature enthusiasts.
