Kremlin dismisses reports of potential Russian attacks on NATO

The Kremlin has dismissed reports from American media suggesting that Russia might attack a NATO member state. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov characterized such claims as ‘horror stories’ that bear no relation to reality or the intentions of the Russian Federation.

The denial follows a meeting in Moscow between CIA Director John Ratcliffe and the head of Russia’s foreign intelligence service (SVR). While the specific details of their discussion remain undisclosed, officials confirmed they addressed sensitive issues within their respective intelligence jurisdictions.

Separately, Moscow announced plans to take legal action against the European Union to block efforts to use frozen Russian state assets to fund Ukraine. This move comes in response to reports that several EU nations, including Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland, are advocating for the use of these assets to support Kyiv.
