Kremlin says no concrete peace proposal info ahead of Trump‑Zelensky Washington meeting

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow has not received any specific information about new peace proposals for Ukraine before the scheduled meeting in Washington between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A Ukrainian source had previously said U.S. and Ukrainian officials were discussing an air‑ceasefire plan to present to Russia as part of a new round of negotiations. Peskov dismissed the media speculation as unverified and declined to comment on Zelenskyy’s claim that Russia might welcome 30,000 North Korean troops in the Voronezh region.

The statements were reported by Reuters and reproduced in Brazilian and Romanian media outlets.
