Kremlin warns Ukraine will pay a price for recent attacks
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukraine will have to pay a price for its recent actions and attacks on Russian territory. He emphasized that the Russian armed forces are continuing their special military operation by consistently targeting what they deem appropriate objectives to ensure national security.
Regarding the conflict's resolution, Vladimir Putin indicated that while peace proposals exist, Russia is not currently prepared for a ceasefire. He suggested that Russia would evaluate its next steps based on its national interests following recent elections. Peskov also noted that arms control negotiations with the United States should be resumed immediately, as the existing legal and contractual frameworks in this area are now empty.
In contrast, Ukrainian war veteran Oleksiy Hetman suggested that Putin is implementing a new plan to intensify attacks on Ukrainian cities in an attempt to force a capitulation by March 1.
