Kırhan Yılmaz targets 2026 Dakar Youth Olympic Games

Turkish national swimmer Kırhan Yılmaz, 17, is training to represent Turkey at the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. Having started swimming seven years ago at the Yeşilovaspor Club in Trabzon alongside her identical twin brother, Kadirhan Yılmaz, Kırhan has established herself as a prominent figure in Turkish swimming.

Kırhan holds multiple Turkish national records in various age categories, specifically in the 50-meter freestyle, 50-meter butterfly, and 100-meter butterfly events. She and her brother train together six days a week, with Kadirhan providing significant motivational support. The siblings aim to transition their domestic success to the international stage, with the upcoming Dakar games serving as their primary objective.
